We had a busy cleaning day on Saturday with a couple of Soccer games mixed in plus a BYU Basketball game. Needless to say Saturday was pretty busy. However, the best part of the night came that evening. It was date night time.
Because of the basketball game we kind of got a late start. Karen decided that we should do a movie. I had free tickets and that always makes the choice easier. For the show we wanted, we had about 40 minutes to get there so we decides to do food at the theatre to save time. We got there and there were huge lines. As we got close we found that the paper had the wrong time posted and our movie was starting as we were waiting in line. We decide it would be fine (they always do too many previews anyway). It was timed just right. We grabbed the free popcorn (had a ticket there too) and headed into the theatre just in time for the last "comercial". We saw National Treasure 2.
The movie was good, but the most memoriable part will be just holding hands with Karen and snuggling a bit together. It was very relaxing. After the movie we were both hungry and tried several dinning spots. The training table looked like it was closed and the Cheesecake Factory still had a huge wait. What kind of nut (besides us) goes out for dinner at 9:30? So, we headed to Applebees. Once again the meal was fine and the service was just OK, but the evening was great. Karen was in one of those moods where she just takes over the conversation and shares her feeling about anything and everything with me. My main role was to listen. That was good because it gave me a chance to just watch her. When she is like that she glows with excitement for life, much like the night I decided to date her as I watched her dancing down the church hallway. She is WONDERFUL.
