A nice break

Wow, yesterday was busy. Work from 7-3. Soccer game for Jess at 3:30. HS Soccer till 5:10. U18 Practice at 5:15. Then Home to watch the boys while all the girls were out at the R.S Social. Since the girls had a night out, the boys decided to do the same. We went to Lone Star. They have a deal on Tuesday that 2 kids eat free with a paying adult. It was made to order – me and 2 kids. We spent most of our time playing all the games in the kids coloring book they gave them. That book was all about Texas and cowboys. We then enjoyed the dinner and headed for home.

In the car Tanner says, "I'm glad we went to that Texas restaurant. I have a friend in Texas. I thought about Cardin all dinner long." Tyler chimes in, "me too, except I was thinking of Haley". They are cute and thoughtful. Another reason the Lord has told us to be like children.

This morning as I am getting ready to go to work I walk past Tanners room. He called me in and asked for a Hug (you have to take advantage of that as long as it will last). Afterward he gives me a kiss and says thanks for taking me to that place last night. It was fun." Made my day and it was only 7 A.M.
