Same old thing.

My friend at work who got me to blog in the first place was teasing me about no updates for so long. Some times I just do not know what to write. He just went thru a new design. Karen and her gang of bloggers change their templates and design all the time. It's not me. I find what I like and stick with it. Therefore my blog remains the same and no one comes to see it anyway. Hence, no need for an update in the first place.

I really am a person of little change. My hair style has basically been the same for my entire life. If I could eat a Hamburger or Pizza every day I would. I would not tire of it. I like it, so why change. Some people call it a rut. I call it enjoyable, comfortable and who I am.

Here is the down fall. I am married to a person of change. Karen does not like to remain the same. Part of what she likes about our family room is she can move the couches around with Little effort just to "change" things a bit. Lately she has been out int he garden. This scares me. Not because of what she does, but it is a change in my world. However, I can see that she would actually like it because I think she sees a whole world of "change" that can happen in the yard. Unfortunately the "big" changes require a lot of work and I see it coming my way. The yard is an ever changing beast. I look forward to the day we have everything done and can just be tweeking, pruning, enhancing. When that day comes I can see Karen wanting to rip it all out and start over again. Change. It's a happening! There it is from my point of view. It has to be a bit scary from Karen's point of view as well. You see, she totally wants something new and exciting and her rut of a husband is good going to the same restuarant on a date and ordering the same dish everytime. He is happy to be in a routine and can bore her very quickly. I have to remind my self of that to get myself out of the rut occationally so that she knows that I love her.

So here is a little post for "change" while I try to think of something more interesting to change up the blog.

Change... yes I am a woman of change, just when you think you know my favorite color, it could change... but I love you and that will never change. Thanks for putting up with me. And That story of ripping up the yard and starting over sounded familiar. I really didn't ever want to rip the "whole" thing up. I pictured the rock progress a plan for years... of rocking. Not an overnighter!I have a new name for you rock lifter... Hercules...
